Hiranandani Fortis Director Exposes Double Standards of NMMC

The Standing Committee Chairman Sandeep Naik’s instruction to the NMMC administration that the name of Fortis be removed from the Hiranandani Fortis name on the hospital building at Vashi. The administration has however granted permission to display the name Hiranandani Fortis and that too in writing. The Director of Hiranandani – Fortis Jasbir Garewal informed that come what may, the name of Fortis stays.

Last week Standing Committee Chairman Sandeep Naik gave instruction to the NMMC administration that the name of Fortis be removed from the Hiranandani Fortis name on the hospital building at Vashi as the permission to put the name was not taken.

Commissioner Vijay Nahata too reiterated the same and said that a letter has been sent from his office to Hiranandani-Fortis to remove the name Fortis. However, Director of Hiranandani – Fortis Jasbir Garewal says that come what may, the name Fortis stays as they have all the permission. He gave us documentary evidence of a letter given from Additional Municipal Commissioner Dr. Sanjay Pattiwar that clearly states that the building can display the name Hiranandani – Fortis.
